Most manufacturers have been aiming to improve the ease of use for the operator over that time and the C5 highlights many of these advances.
The sleek design enables clients to store the vacuum neatly, whether they be on a housekeeping trolley or tucked away neatly in a store cupboard, and the storage of the brush and crevice tool at the rear is a handy feature, too.
I personally feel the dust bag is extremely quick and easy to replace, and the bag closure feature, which comes with most vacuum bags these days, is a must for the safety of the operative.
Detachable mains cables are always a big plus point. We know accidents happen from time to time so to have that feature enables a quick and easy replacement to ensure the vacuum isn’t out of order for too long.
The noise levels are low too when compared to most vacuums, and the vacuum hose is one of, if not the toughest, I have seen in recent years. It has been designed in a way that if twisted at either end it will not split or detach from the curve.
