Duplex 280 Battery

The Duplex 280 Battery Floor Cleaning Machine is the latest addition to the Duplex family. With a cleaning width of 280 mm (11″), the Duplex 280 Standard Floor Cleaning Machine cleans, scrubs and picks up dirty water and grime leaving floors clean and dry in a very short space of time.

For smaller facilities with less floor area to maintain which still require powerful cleaning results the Duplex 280 Battery is the perfect solution. Using the Battery 280 industrial floor cleaning machine is fast and simple, there are no trailing cables to get caught in doorways, furniture or any other likely obstructions. Due to the lack of a mains cable the Duplex 280 battery is ideal for in and around swimming pool areas or any situation where water ingress may be a hazard.

This industrial floor cleaner has a battery running time of one hour on carpet and more on smooth hard surfaces. The running time of the Battery 280 can be increased by having a second battery pack available.

The Battery 280 cleans all types of flooring with ease including but not exclusively, vinyl, ceramic tile, non-slip resin, smooth resin, terrazzo, carpet including carpet tiles, wood, safety flooring, non-slip flooring, entrance matting, Polysafe, Timbersafe, Marley, Flotex, Altro, Tarkett and many more. The scrubbing action of the brushes also revitalises carpet pile leaving carpets looking like new.

The Duplex 280’s twin contra-rotating brushes are offset to one side and the machine cleans in both directions by means of the bi-directional handle. This allows ‘right to the edge’ cleaning, alongside walls and into corners, alongside skirtings, under furniture and around fixtures.

The 280’s quick release brushes can be removed with a simple push of the safety catch, located on the end of the brush. only one type of brush is required for this machine, the universal grey. In fact the Duplex 280 industrial Floor and Carpet Cleaning Machine is feather-light and easy to manoeuvre in a single-handed operation.

This smaller model is ideal for commercial facilities with small to mid-sized areas and can be extensively used in care homes, vets, hospitals, retail outlets, leisure, catering and educational facilities plus many more.

The secret to the Duplex 280 Floor Cleaning Machines remarkable performance is in it’s contra-rotating cylindrical brushes. This design produces an exceptionally thorough clean on all floor types. The unique design of the brushes includes thousands of bristles strategically placed across the width of each brush which rotates at 600 rpm. These actively lift dirt, water and grime from the floor leaving it clean and dry in a very short space of time.
